Based on a story in The Weekly World News, BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL is a musical comedy/horror show about a half boy/half bat creature who is discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia. For lack of a better solution, the local sheriff brings Bat Boy to the home of the town veterinarian, Dr. Parker, where he is eventually accepted as a member of the family and taught to act like a "normal" boy by the veterinarian's wife, Meredith, and teenage daughter, Shelley. Bat Boy is happy with his new life, but when he naively tries to fit in with the narrow-minded people of Hope Falls, they turn on him, prodded by the machinations of Dr. Parker, who secretly despises Bat Boy. Shelley and Bat Boy, who have fallen in love, run away together from the ignorant townsfolk and have a blissful coupling in the woods, but their happiness is shattered when Meredith arrives and reveals a secret. Soon the entire town arrives and hears the shocking story of Bat Boy's unholy origin.

Fall of 2013 our production of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change received great buzz around town.  Kathy Sturm directed this hilarious show.  This time we performed in the office space of the Mid Ohio Select Soccer League.  Good theatre can happen anywhere!
"Though seemingly a kind of gypsy troupe right now -- performing in whatever office or neighborhood community space they can find -- the spirit of ECP is very much alive and well. I am thrilled that ECP is still bringing quality theater to Central Ohio"

Spring of 2013 ECP produced Nora Ephrons "Love, Loss and What I Wore" directed by Dale Bush.  The show had great audiences in a condo clubhouse in Dublin.  We took the show to Central Region OCTA and were the alternate selection to State!  Not bad for a theatre in limbo!!

The Summer of 2012 ECP produced the musical revue 100 Years of Broadway.  The rotating cast performed several times around Central Ohio.  Money raised through these performances helped us work toward our goal of a new performance space.  A local theatre lover described the show as "a nostalgic trip through many favorite Broadway tunes"

In July of 2011, ECP produced "You've Got Hate Mail", directed by Chris Rusen.  The 5 week run at Sequoia Lanes was highly successful, proving the loyalty of the ECP audience, as we work toward our come back.

"From the opening curtain the audience was left laughing and sometimes blushing at this "not so" romantic comedy that explores the pitfalls of dicey emails and office relationships. Show goers found Sequoia to be an "unexpectedly appropriate" venue for theater watching and seating for 75."
